2. TIMBERMATE DOES NOT SINK, SHRINK, CRACK OR FALL OUT while others do.

3. IT IS 100% WATER-BASED AND ORGANIC USING ONLY TAP WATER. Solvent-based uses lacquer thinner which is costly & harmful to health. Epoxy is very expensive and harmful to handle while those so-called water based remains harmful to health.

4. TIMBERMATE HAS NO POT OR SHELF LIFE AND CAN BE USED TO THE LAST DROP. IT IS "ZERO WASTE” WHEREIN UNUSED QUANTITY CAN BE RETURNED TO CONTAINER AND PROVIDES LOTS OF SAVINGS. Others have very short pot and shelf life, becomes hard and useless when left unsealed or overtime in the container and put into waste which yields no savings.

5. TIMBERMATE IS NON-FLAMMABLE while other fillers have flammable properties.

6. IT IS NON-TOXIC, CONTAINS NO ACETONE, NON-LATEX, NON-SOLVENT AND NON-ACRYLIC. Solvent based, as the word suggest contains solvent, which is harmful and toxic. Epoxy contains resin, which is detrimental to health. And the latter contains acrylic, which is also toxic.

7. TIMBERMATE IS COMPATIBLE & CAN ABSORB ANY TYPE OF STAINS AND PAINT COATINGS. Solvent-based & other so-called water-based filler are not compatible with all of type of stains or paint coatings. They all leave marks.

8. IT CAN BE USED FOR ANY WOOD SPECIE, MDF/PARTICLE BOARD/PLYWOOD, PLASTER BOARD, FIBERGLASS, CEMENT BOARD, BLACK IRON, METAL, POLY RESIN STONE CRAFT, RATTAN, BAMBOO AND COCONUT SHELL while others can only be used for wood, rattan and bamboo.

9. TIMBERMATE CAN BE SCREWED & NAILED ON, CUT ON WITH CIRCULAR SAW, ROUTERED ON CORNERS, EDGES CAN BE EASILY REPAIRED WITHOUT CRACKING AND COMING OFF while others would crack, come off and impossible to achieve this application.

10. TIMBERMATE IS A VERY HARD MATERIAL WHEN IT GETS DRIED, BUT WHEN MIXED WITH WATER IT BECOMES SOFT TO USE. IT HAS STRONG BONDING CAPABILITY. Solvent based, which is not hard once dried, cannot be softened to use and has no bonding capability. Epoxy is hard but very difficult to sand and cannot be softened again. On the other hand, the so-called water-based is not hard when dried. It is difficult to sand and has weak bonding capacity.

11. IT’S HEAT PROOF UP TO 220°C & FREEZE PROOF UP TO -70°c, WILL NOT CRACK, SHRINK, SINK OR FALL OUT while others are not heat and freeze proof.

12. TIMBERMATE IS NOT HARMFUL AND CAN BE USED IN CHILDREN’S FURNITURE & TOYS. Others are not recommended because they are toxic and harmful.

13. TIMBERMATE IS A HEAVY-BODIED FILLER, TWICE THE DENSITY OF A REGULAR FILLER, SO IT CAN EASILY GO INSIDE THE TINY WOOD OPEN GRAINS, HOLES CRACKS, KNOTS AND GAPS while others are just regular types and can’t do the same job.

14. TIMBEMATE IS MULTI-PURPOSE IN USE. Solvent based, epoxy and the so-called water based fillers are not multi-purpose.

15. WHEN USED AS GRAIN FILLER. YOU SAVE APROX. 20-30% OF PAINT COATINGS, AS THIS FILLER HAS THE CAPACITY TO CLOSE THE TINIEST OF OPEN GRAINS. Others can’t do this processing and yields no savings.

16. WHEN USED AS A GRAIN FILLER, DRYING TIME IS 20-30 MINUTES; AS AN EDGE FILLER: 15-30 MINUTES: AS A HOLE, KNOT & CRACK FILLER, CURING TIME DEPENDS UPON THE DEPTH, WIDTH & LENGTH AT APPROX. 30-60 MINUTES. Other alternative dry fast on surface but takes too long to cure underneath.

17. HANDS & TOOLS CAN BE CLEANSED WITH WATER, VERY SAFE AND REQUIRES NO ADDITONAL COST. Solvents and the co-called water based alternatives require lacquer thinner to clean which is costly and harmful to workers. Epoxy sticks to fingers, which peels off the skin and is very harmful.

18. TIMBERMATE COMES IN 14 FAST COLORS. THESE COLORS CAN BE INTERMIXED TO GET DESIRED WOOD SHADE. PRIOR TO USE, CAN BE MIXED WITH PENETRATING WATER DYE STAINS. TIMBERMATE CAN BE USED AS A BASECOAT. Solvents and the so-called water based alternatives come only in one shade while epoxy comes only in pink.

19. TIMBERMATE IS EXCELLENT TO USE FOR ANY TYPE OF WOOD FLOORING SPECIES. Other alternatives can only be used as wood putty and cannot be used as a grain filler & base coat.

20. TIMBERMATE IS WORTH BUYING DUE TO ALL ABOVE SAVINGS, BENEFITS & ADVANTAGES. AT THE END OF THE DAY, TIMBERMATE BECOMES CHEAPER THAN ALL OTHER TRADITIONAL FILLERS. Solvents and the so-called water based alternatives initial cost is cheaper. Epoxy’s initial cost is higher but absolutely all of them don’t have the same characteristics & advantages of TIMBERMATE.
